This acquisition represents a great opportunity to reposition an asset in the Adams Point area that had been previously owned by a family for 25 years. William E. Brown, a principal in Plaza Del Sol Investors, LLC, sold the Plaza Del Sol Apartments, located at 736 West 2nd Street, Sonoma for $4,750,000. We wish to thank Howard Schardt of First Marin Realty for representing the buyers.

Investment partners William E. Brown, William H. Brown and Ron Weiss sold 366 Bellevue Ave., Oakland for $3,600,000. The sellers were able to reposition the property by adding value with capital improvements and management expertise.

November 30, 2004

William E. Brown represented the partnership led by Jon Shahoian in the acquisition of the Golden State Mutual Building at 4844 Telegraph Avenue, Oakland. The 11,000 square foot office building is going to be renovated and will be future home of Jon's property management business, The Lapham Company. The purchase price was $1,700,000.00

William E. Brown represented the seller in the sale of the Villas at Harbor Pointe. This 100 unit apartment community, located at 560-590 Sunnyview Drive in Pinole, CA, sold for $13,800,000.

December 19, 2003

Investment partners William E. Brown, William H. Brown and Ron Weiss acquired 366 Bellevue Ave. in Oakland. With an aggressive purchase price, ten-day due diligence period and no loan contingency, the buyers outbid 11 other offers to acquire this 26 unit apartment building for $2,600,000. The building represents an excellent opportunity to improve and reposition an asset in a prime location. We want to thank Kevin Turner from Marcus and Millichap for representing us as buyers.

William E. Brown represented both the buyers and the seller in the sale of 350 Vernon St., Oakland. This 36 unit apartment building was purchased by William H. Brown and Ron Weiss for $4,500,000. The seven-story building is predominantly 2 bedroom/2 bath units with fantastic views.

William E. Brown as listing agent, represented the seller in the sale of the Arbol Verde Apartments. This 52- unit garden style apartment building, located at 3998 East Avenue in Livermore, CA, sold for $5.4 million.

March 24, 2003

William E. Brown represented the buyer in the sale of the Grand Lake Terrace Apartments, located at 520 Van Buren Street, Oakland. The six-story, 109 unit apartment building was acquired for $12.25 million. This is the third time in the past four years this building has sold. On each consecutive sale, William E. Brown has represented the seller, buyer, or both principals in the transaction.

December 28, 2002

Sonoma Plaza Del Sol Investors announces the acquisition of the Plaza Del Sol Apartments, located at 736 2nd Street, Sonoma. The buyer is a Limited Liability Company that consists solely of William H. Brown, William E. Brown and Kevin C. Brown, all as general partners. The buyer acquired the two-story 33- unit building, located only two blocks from the historic Sonoma Square for $4,550,000. Scott Gerber of Meridian Commercial represented both the buyer and the seller.
